Mark Twain Nominees
The Mark Twain Program is designed for 4th, 5th graders. Students across Missouri help choose the winner. Students that read 4 or more of the current nominees can vote for their favorite nominee. They can also be entered into a raffle to be chosen as a member of the quiz bowl team in the spring to compete against the other elementary schools. Students that would like to be considered for the quiz bowl must read and take a quiz over all 12 of the nominated books.
Show Me Nominees
This program is designed for students in first, second, and third grades. After students have read at least 5 of these stories they are eligible to vote for their favorite nominee. Read alouds will be conducted by the Library Media Specialist and classroom teachers.

Missouri Building Blocks
